Day 01
Welcome to the Canadian Rockies! Your adventure begins in Calgary with a welcome meeting. Hit the road for Banff National Park and enjoy your first hike of the trip at Tunnel Mountain. Enjoy the afternoon exploring Banff town before heading to your campground.
Day 02
Make the drive to Lake Louise to experience natural beauty at its very best. Tackle one of the many hiking trails, such as the stunning Lake Agnes Hike. In the late afternoon, unwind in the Banff Upper Hot Springs Canada’s highest natural springs.
Day 03
Enjoy a scenic ride along the Icefields Parkway. Arrive at Bow Lake and set out on the Bow Glacier Falls Hike. Take in the epic views of Crowfoot Mountain and Mt. Gordon before returning to a picturesque campground for a BBQ dinner under the stars.
Day 04
Breathe in the fresh mountain air and drive out to Mt Robson Provincial Park (the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies). Take on the moderately challenging Kinney Lake Trail and enjoy a picnic by the mountain-fringed lake.
Day 05
Travel to Maligne Lake, famed for its bright blue waters and diverse wildlife. Choose from gentle hiking options or rent a canoe to see the lake from a different perspective. Spend a laidback afternoon exploring Jasper townsite.
Day 06
Return to the Icefields Parkway, making stops at waterfalls and glaciers. Choose to hike the Wilcox Pass for views of the Columbia Icefield, or take an optional guided hike on the Athabasca Glacier. Stop at the famous Peyto Lake viewpoint.
Day 07
Head into Yoho National Park for a half-day loop hike. Stand in the mist of Takakkaw Falls (Canada’s second tallest waterfall) and look out over the remarkable Emerald Lake. Enjoy detours to hidden lakes like Yoho Lake.
Day 08
Follow the Grassi Lakes Trail for a short, easy walk through evergreen forests to reach striking turquoise waters. After this final hike, head back to Calgary where your adventure comes to an end.
