Day 01
Welcome to Nova Scotia! Your adventure starts today in Halifax, an Atlantic Ocean port known for its maritime history. Meet your group at 5 pm and head out for an orientation walk with your leader to get your bearings.
Day 02
Head to historic Lunenburg on the South Shore—a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore Mahone Bay and Blue Rocks on a guided walking tour, and enjoy free time exploring the old town centre and sampling local brews.
Day 03
Take a trip to Peggy’s Cove, a scenic fishing village featuring rocky outcrops and a classic red-tipped lighthouse. Wander along the Peggy’s Cove Rock Walk and optionally visit the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.
Day 04
Drive to Baddeck, stopping at the Millbrook Cultural and Heritage Center to learn about the Mi’kmaq First Nation. Tonight, enjoy dinner with your group followed by a traditional Celtic music ceilidh performance.
Day 05
Drive along the famous Cabot Trail for a leisurely hike on the Skyline Trail, leading to spectacular sweeping views over the sea. Enjoy a truly local experience at an oyster hatchery in South Harbour.
Day 06
Depart for Charlottetown, the capital of Prince Edward Island. Stroll alongside the picturesque harbour or take in the leafy parks and Victorian-era streets before a special group dinner.
Day 07
After a morning orientation meeting, head out along the stunning Points East Coastal Drive to meet a local fisherman and enjoy a traditional lobster and mussel shore boil on his private property.
Day 08
Visit the Greenwich section of PEI National Park, home to a rare parabolic dune system. Visit the Skmaqn–Port-la-Joye–Fort Amherst historic site, and carry on to a local, family-run winery for a tasting.
Day 09
Drive towards Summerside, stopping in Cavendish to visit the Anne of Green Gables Heritage Place. Visit Lennox Island First Nation for a Mi’kmaq cultural experience and see the famous Bottle Houses.
Day 10
Cross the iconic Confederation Bridge to New Brunswick. Head to Shediac, the Lobster Capital of the World, and board a boat to cruise scenic Shediac Bay with a delicious lobster dinner served on board.
Day 11
Visit Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park to walk right out onto the sea floor among towering sandstone formations (tide permitting). Continue through Fundy National Park to the historic seaport city of Saint John.
