Day 01
Welcome to Nova Scotia!. Your adventure starts in Halifax with a welcome meeting at 5 pm. Head out for an orientation walk with your leader to get your bearings, then maybe join an optional welcome dinner.
Day 02
Head to historic Lunenburg on the South Shore, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore Mahone Bay and Blue Rocks on a guided walking tour, and sample local brews in this old rum-running town.
Day 03
Take a trip to Peggy’s Cove, featuring rocky outcrops and a classic red-tipped lighthouse. Wander along the Peggy’s Cove Rock Walk along the barren coastline.
Day 04
Drive to Baddeck, stopping at the Millbrook Cultural and Heritage Center along the way. Enjoy a local ceilidh performance tonight with traditional Cape Breton music.
Day 05
Drive along the Cabot Trail and hike the Skyline Trail for spectacular sweeping views over the sea. Enjoy a truly local experience at an oyster hatchery in South Harbour to learn how oysters are grown.
Day 06
Depart for Charlottetown, the capital of Prince Edward Island. Stroll the Victorian-era streets lined with gabled houses and join your group for a farewell dinner.
