Walk the streets of Vancouver, hike the trails of Jasper and Banff to Maligne Lake and Lake Louise, and get wild in national parks where it’s possible to spot moose, elk, deer, and bears among the sea of evergreen pine and spruce trees. Enjoy plenty of free time to explore Canada’s premier outdoor adventure hub, Whistler, at your own pace.

Take an included canoeing adventure and camp overnight on the remote shore of Clearwater Lake, where you can fall asleep under a blanket of stars. See the Athabasca Glacier up close during a walk to the toe of the glacier, and experience the Rockies’ vast array of striking lakes, mountains, and glaciers with a wilderness-loving local as your guide.

Day 01

Vancouver

Welcome to Canada! Your adventure begins in Vancouver with a welcome meeting. If you arrive early, take a walk around the Victorian buildings in the historic Gastown neighborhood or wander through Stanley Park.

Day 02

Whistler

Hit the road for the outdoorsy hub of Whistler, driving along the scenic Sea to Sky Highway. Enjoy an orientation walk, then spend Day 3 enjoying free time to ride the PEAK 2 PEAK gondola, hire a bike, or hike the Lost Lake Nature Trail.

Day 03

Wells Gray Provincial Park

Settle in for a long drive to Wells Gray Provincial Park, known for its 42 named waterfalls and the world’s only inland temperate rainforest. Arrive in time to set up camp for the evening.

Day 05

Wells Gray Provincial Park (Canoe Trip)

Travel deeper into the park to Clearwater Lake. Pack your camping equipment into a canoe and paddle to a secluded beach campsite for a 2-night authentic backcountry adventure. Spend your days paddling, swimming, and stargazing.

Day 06

Day 07

Jasper National Park

Wake up lakeside, pack your gear, and paddle back. Hit the road bound for Jasper National Park, stopping at Helmcken and Spahats waterfalls and Mt. Robson Provincial Park along the way.

 

Day 08

asper National Park / Maligne Lake

Visit Maligne Lake, famed for its bright blue waters and jagged mountains. Choose to take an optional cruise to Spirit Island or hike the Mary Schaeffer trails. Spend the afternoon exploring Jasper.

 

Day 09

Banff National Park

Take a scenic drive along the famous Icefields Parkway, stopping at numerous viewpoints and waterfalls. Visit the Athabasca Glacier and walk to the toe of the ice before continuing to your campground in Banff.

Day 10

Banff National Park

Explore Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Choose your own adventure with an optional hike on the Plain of Six Glaciers trail. On Day 11, enjoy a free day to take a gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain, go canoeing, or explore the town of Banff.

Day 12

Yoho National Park / Golden

Drive to Yoho National Park and set up base in Golden. Visit Emerald Lake for canoeing or a scenic hike. On Day 13, opt for a walk to the Golden Skybridge or brave the wild waters of the Kicking Horse River on a guided rafting tour.

Day 14

Glacier National Park / Revelstoke / Salmon Arm

Travel through Rogers Pass to Glacier National Park. Stop at the Discovery Centre, pause for lunch at Revelstoke’s inland rainforest, and set up your final camp near Salmon Arm.

Day 15

Vancouver

Make the journey back to Vancouver, arriving before 3 pm. Your Canadian Rockies adventure comes to an end here.
